The best way to find your lost item is through Uber’s self-service portal. You must log in with your Uber account details.
This shows the phone numbers of the drivers from your last 3 trips. From here you can arrange the return of your lost item directly.

All lost items brought into the office are safely tagged, bagged and placed in the lost property storage. Once the customer support team hears from the owner of the items, they can co-ordinate to return the lost item.
